The Addams Family Review - Game Boy Classic

About.com Rating onehalf out of Five

Parents Tips

Although created before the ESRB existed, had this game been released today it would most likely get an E for Everyone rating. There is no death in the game other than when you are defeated in boss battles and crumble into dust. Even this is done in such a cartoony and simple way that it would be more traumatic watching a Road Runner cartoon.

Trivia

The Addams Family didn’t start out as a video game, movie or even a sitcom. They originated as a comic strip in the New Yorker by macabre cartoonist Charles Addams. Originally they were a ghoulishly funny family with no name, but they became so popular that eventually they were dubbed with the nickname The Addams Family, after their creator. The nickname stuck and the rest is morbidly comical history.
