In life things get dirty. No matter how hard you try with slipcases, dust jackets or air filters, you can never seem prevent dust and grime getting into those hard to reach spaces. This also goes for your Game Boy game cartridges. They may have a small opening, but the dirt still seems to get in there, often making it hard for your favorite Game Boy system to read the cartridge, and if it gets ground-in far enough, it can actually destroy it.
All of this can be avoided by cleaning your games at the first sign of trouble and its not as hard as youd think.
First make sure you have the right equipment.
- Can of Compressed Air
- Cotton Swabs
- Small amount of water
- Paper Towels
