Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare is one of the few Horror Survival titles to receive a T for Teen Rating by the ESRB. Although it contains violence, death and the undead, it doesn’t have any blood, gratuitous gore or graphically violent acts. Well suited for younger teens looking for a scary game without any trauma.

Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare’s gameplay style may not have hit it big in the United States, but in Japan another horror survival game of a similar style and even better graphics released for the GBA titled Ghost Trap. I can’t wait to check it out…once I find an English translation.
