Laura Croft Gets Her Son a Game Boy Advance
Angelina Jolie Gives Her Adopted Son His Very First Present – A Game Boy Advance!
Right after finalizing the adoption of her new son Pax Thien from an orphanage in Vietnam, actress Angelina Jolie gave the 3-year-old his very present, a Game Boy Advance! I would have called it his first gift, but she already gave him that…a family and a better quality of life.
Oddly enough many of video game websites/blog critics used this as an excuse to poke fun at Jolie, whining that she should have gotten him a more “next-gen” gaming system. This shows how little those guys know. The GBA is a terrific system to start a youngster like Pax off with. The design and buttons are easy to manipulate for small hands, it has the most games geared for younger players and it’s far more durable than any other handheld system. Heck, my Parents gave me a Game Boy Classic back when I was a kid and look at me now; I’ve made a profession out of it! With his mom’s support maybe Pax will grow up to be just like me…a Game Boy Guide.
Now remember, just because Angelina plays Laura Croft in the movies, doesn’t mean that those T for Teen rated Tomb Raider GBA games are appropriate for Pax, so in honor of the occasion I’ve put together the Top 8 Early Childhood Games for Game Boy, specially designed titles for young gamers starting at age 3. Enjoy Pax!
