Mario Becomes Art in Stacie Ponder's Comic Strip The Sticks
Cartoonist Stacie Ponder has captured everyone's favorite tubby little hero, and star of 17 Game Boy Advance titles, into one of the latest chapters of her comic strip The Sticks. Although we all know Mario's adventures are fun and exciting, we've also shared the frustrations of battling our way to the end of a level, only to find that Princess Peach is in a different castle. Stacie has mastered the use of Pop Culture to show the irony and humor of everyday life, and her latest Mario strip holds her trademark personality and voice while giving us all something we can all relate to. Stacie recently sat with us for an interview to discuss her Mario strip in The Sticks and where she gets her inspirations, plus her unending love of Mario and Game Boy.
